We’re proud to announce that this school year, we’ll be bringing back our award-winning Stone Panthers Dance Team! The SPDT started in 2008 and is a competition and performance team. In the years since, our team has performed at various Westfield HS and George Mason University basketball games, placed first in hip-hop, lyrical, jazz, and pom competitions throughout Fairfax and Prince William counties.

Coaching this year’s team will be former Stone and Westfield alumna that can’t wait to create our new squad. Tryouts will be held later this quarter so make sure you keep a look out for when they’ll be held. If you’d like more information on the team, please see Mr. Anderson. The contest will be limited to only 50 students. Make sure you register to sign up ASAP! This is a single-elimination tournament and yes, there will be a prize for our winner.

STEP 1: Register for the After School Program. (One Time Only)

STEP 2:  Review the After School Activity Calendar each quarter

STEP 3: Report AND sign-in to your Session A location for attendance. You must sign in through your school-issued laptop to both sessions you’re attending!

STEP 4: Have Fun!

We’re proud to announce that The Panther’s Lair, the official after school program here at Stone Middle School, will begin on Monday, Sept. 26! After-school activities will be a blend of homework assistance, tutoring, school clubs, community service, arts and crafts, leadership, recreation and sports, and other activities. The program runs two sessions:
A-session from 2:25-3:25pm
B-session from 3:30-4:30pm

Students staying after school for an activity must first be a registered participate of the program. Students can register ONLY by being logged into their Google FCPSschools.net account at https://forms.gle/x4KXiFPK5YNoBHF36

Late Bus Info:
Students will be provided bus transportation home on late bus days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays). Bus stops differ from the regular bus stops.  Students should check the bus listings available in the lobby and main office.  Bus routes will be available in early September.  Families will be notified via a News You Choose message about how to access the late bus information.
